Description:
This example is a customized Colt Mark IV Government Model Series 70 in 9 mm. The gun was manufactured in 1980 with serial 70L21985. Markings on the left slide; "COLT'S MK IV/SERIES '70 / GOVERNMENT MODEL / .9mm LUGER CALIBER" and with a Rampant Colt logo. The right of the frame is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." with the serial number. The right side of the slide is marked "COLT'S GOVERNMENT MODEL". The top of the barrel is marked "-CAL. 9MM. LUGER- / MARK IV/SERIES '70". The left of the trigger guard is marked "VP" in a triangle at the rear and "M" at the front. The right trigger guard bow is marked "A". The front sight is a serrated ramped blade fixed to the slide. The rear sight is a swept back square-notch with a serrated rear face dovetailed into the slide. The grips are two-piece double diamond checkered wood. Both slide stop and thumb safety are extended with serrations. The arched mainspring housing is also serrated. Come with one Colt marked 9 mm magazine. 9mm Luger
