Listed is a Colt Bisley Model SAA in .32 WCF with a 4 3/4" Barrel. This model features a more curved forward and longer grip strap, and a smaller, raked back hammer.
It was designed with the target shooter in mind and was named after the town, Bisley, England. this was the location of the international target matches during the late 19 and early 20 century.
It was in production from 1896 to 1912 with the serial num bers starting at 165900 to 323000. Slightly over 45,000 were produced.
This revolver retains approximately 25% to 30% of its bluing and the case hardened color is muted and light except in protected areas.
There are no blemishes or pitting. The black grips are in excellent shape. The bore is in very Good condition with some light frosting. The land and grooves are visible and clean.
The cylinder has moderate turn marks.
