***SOLD*** Fantastic early S/N Pre War Model 70 Super Grade in 30-06 caliber.
S/N 10467 with matching scribed bolt made in 1937.
Superb condition throughout with lustrous original finishes showing 97-98% and only minimal handling marks.
Incredible workmanship and details on these first guns with a gorgeous rust blued barrel and polished carbonum blued receiver, along with the beautiful deluxe stock.
All special Super Grade appointments and small details are present, original and correct, including the issued Redfield front sight, and the uniquely profiled Pre War detachable swivels.
The rear sight consists of the correct factory installed early Lyman 48 WJS with thimble knobs. All component #s are matching on this sight. There is also the proper Lyman 12S filler in the rear sight barrel dovetail.
24" barrel with minty bore and perfect, crisp mechanics as usual.
