Description:
Listed is a Christian Sharps 1852 Carbine.  This design became standard for all of the sharps rifles for the next 2 decades.
This was the first rifle to be called 'Slant Breech', and established Christian sharp as a major gun manufacturer.
There were approximately only 5000 manufactured by Robbins and lawrence, which this rifle is one of.
The rifle has very little of its original blue.  The barrel is in very good shape and has turned a nice antique brown patina.  The land and grooves are still very distinct in appearance.
The case hard colors of the reciever has turned a nice model gray amd the cartuches are still ledgable and sharp.  Saddle ring is present.
Price is $3250.00 + $60.00 shipping.
