Listed is a Springfield Armory Model 1873 Trapdoor Carbine in 45-70 Caliber.
This carbine has a 22" barrel, half stock, single barrel band and a stacking swivel.
Only approximately 20,000 were made, so this is a scarce gun.
All cartuches are visible on the stock and barrel.
The bore is very Good with some slight frosting.
Barrel retains approximately 40% to 45% of its origin al finish with the beginning of a nice antique brown patina on the rest of the barrel and locking mechanism.
The stock is in very good shape.
