Nice Colt 38 40 , good bore ,4 3/4 , 2 line barrel address lettering is clear as is 2 line pantent lettering. Has a fair amount of blue finishing on barrel & injector housing. Some case coloring on hammer ,most on reciever tuning to frost coloring, Action is crisp with 4 clicks.. Manufactured in 1923.
