For sale is a Savage - Anschutz Model 54 Sporter bolt action rifle chambered in 22 Long Rifle in near 100% original condition. Made in West Germany in 19?? (I can't find info on the proof mark shown in the next to last photo. Maybe someone can fill in the blank) by Anschutz and imported/distributed by Savage Arms. 24" barrel, folding leaf rear sight, hooded front sight, 5-shot magazine. Receiver is both grooved for rimfire rings and factory drilled and tapped for aftermarket bases and rings. Monte Carlo rollover cheekrest, checkered grip and forend, schnable forend tip. Price is $1750 plus $75 shipping and insurance to your FFL. I am a private individual and if your FFL does not accept shipment from non-FFL individuals then add $25 for me to have my FFL ship it.
