Description:
Offered is a very nice Colt Single Action Army Revolver in 45 Colt. The serial # 140040 putsthe date of manufacture ai 1893. The gun is an Antique and does not require shipping to an FFL dealer. The gun appearss too have been professionlly restored to a very deep blue black finish. All screws, labels and numbers are clean and legible. The serial number appears on the frame, trigger guard and butt strap. The loading gate bears a lot number 118.
The gun is equipt with a 5 1/2" barrel, and two piece wooden grips.
Mechanically, the gun operates as designed with a very sharp 4 click trigger. The bore is clean and bright with no pitting or corrosion. The cylinder is firm with no movement when the trigger is cocked.
This gun would make an excellent shooter for Cowboy competition.
