Payment Types Accepted: Checks, Credit Cards, PayPal Description: Two Very Early Civil War Colt Percussion Model 1849 Revolvers With Six Inch Barrels In A Dealer Made French Style Contoured Case In Fine Untouched Condition. The revolver on top is serial #22,771 & has all matching numbers. It was made in 1851. It has very good metal and markings with a two line "New York" address. All edges are also very good. It has a light cylinder scene in areas and is hard to see. All of the metal on the pistol has an untouched, dark & natural patina on it. All screws are nice in the gun. The brass backstrap and trigger guard are nice throughout and retain some original silver on them. The original grips are fine and fit tightly. It has a good bore and action. The revolver on the bottom is serial #27,829, and also has all matching numbers. It was made in early 1852. The one has fine metal, markings & edges. The cylinder has a full and very crisp cylinder scene that has no wear on it. The barrel on the pistol retains most of its original blue on it. The cylinder has a nice natural patina on it with some areas showing hints of blue on it. The brass backstrap and trigger guard are fine throughout and retain some original silver on them. The original grips are excellent and retain their original varnish on them. They fit perfectly. It has an excellent action and bore in it. Obviously the earlier pocket was used more than the other one. The period dealer made french style contoured double case is excellent throughout with a wonderful blue interior inside. The accessories include a fine "Eagle and Stars Pocket Flask, A Colt's Patent Bow Leg Pocket Mold, & An Eley Bro. Cap Tin". The Entire Set Looks Fine Throughout And Would Be A Very Good Addition To Any Collection!
