Description:
A nickel New Service .38 Special with the very desirable 4” barrel. The nickel is flaking on the frame and the lanyard ring is missing but it’s still a hard combination to find as ant 4” New Service is desirable. Mechanically it is in about new condition. It locks up tight and the timing is perfect. I really don’t think this gun was used very much even though the appearance suffers on the frame. The barrel es excellent and the grips look new. A refinish on the frame and you would have a great looking gun. As it is it would make a wonderful shooter. Research shows it left the Colt factory as a nickel 4” in .38 Special and was shipped on 2/22/1941 to Masters Hardware Company in Hamilton, Bermuda. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information. Please see my other collectible firearms that I have listed.
