Description:
The Detonics was the first mass-produced ultra-compact 1911 design. This is a Modified 1911 design to include removal of the grip safety, moving the rear sight forward, and contouring the back of the slide to reduce its mass. It comes standard with 6-round flush-fitting magazines, but it can accept 1911 magazine of higher capacity. The left of the slide is marked "DETONICS 45". The right of the frame is marked "DETONICS / BELLEVUE, WA. / CR20736". The right side of the slide has no markings. The bottom of the chamber is hand inscribed "20736/ .45 ACP". The interior of the slide is hand inscribed "0736". The front sight is a blade fixed to the slide. The rear is a square notch sight dovetailed into the slide, it also has a set screw. The grip is a checkered black rubber Pachmayr Signature grip. Comes in excellent lightly used condition with one magazine. .45 ACP
