Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 1917 was made for and issued to soldiers in the U.S. Army from WWI all the way up to the Vietnam War. Being chambered in .45 ACP means that the gun needs to be loaded with moon clips in order to use the extractor, but if there are none then the user can still shoot the firearm the shells just need to be pushed out with some sort of ram rod. This particular firearm is in good condition considering the age and use of the firearm. The Grips are not original and There is some wear and small amounts of rust throughout. The bore looks clean and the firearm seems to operate just fine. .45 Auto
