Description:
A great example of a World War II Colt M1911A1! This pistol was manufactured in 1943 and still has a lot of life left to give. Features G.H.D. Inspector Stamp and all Colt parts. The Main Spring Housing and Hammer appear to be of 1944/1945 type and the pistol shows evidence of being reparkerized although the heat treatment of the front of the slide and around the slide stop is still evident. No re-arsenal markings. A great addition to any collection or as a shooter! Magazine marked "S" (Scovil) on floorplate.
