We are offering for sale a Marlin Model 39A TAKEDOWN lever action rifle chambered in .22 S L and LR calibers. This rifle was manufactured in 1954 and it remains in very good condition. The receiver has been fitted with scope mount and Bushnell Banner 22 scope.
24" "JM" marked barrel is very good showing light handling wear; This is an early 39A barrel which was factory drilled and tapped on left side for Weaver mount. The bore remains bright and shiny with crisp rifling. The receiver is very good with some light handling wear; Takedown functions properly. Lever action functions flawlessly. Stocks remain very good with field wear; Missing bullseye on the underside of shoulder stock. Factory butt plate is very good.
