***SOLD*** Winchester 1895 in scarce 38-72 caliber.
S/N 37256 made in 1903.
Decent looking rifle with an old reblue and a light topcoat of oil on the wood. There are 2 non structural wood cracks, one about 1.5 inches long originating from forend tip and another at front end of buttstock near the tang.
The mechanical functions are excellent and crisp. The bore is very good-excellent showing bright with strong rifling and only scattered light roughness in spots.
26" octagon barrel. Steel crescent buttplate. Lyman front sight and Marbles rear sight.
