Early 1939 Mauser K98K code 243 8MM Mauser with all matching numbers on all parts and proof marks. This rifle was manufactured at Mausers Borsigwalde, Berlin factory in early 1939. The markings on this rifle include droop wing eagle fire proofs on the barrel and receiver along with the stock. Along with the Waffenamts code for borsigwalde (Eagle/26) which are present on almost all parts of this rifle. The stock has an Eagle of L stamp which indicates it was issued to the Luftwaffe (Air Force). This rifle is in excellent condition retaining almost all of its original finish on wood and metal. All the stamps are high detailed and easily visible. If I was to keep a rifle for a personal collection this would be the one. Please closely inspect the attached photos for details.
