Description:
The Thompson Center Encore is a break-action frame released in 1998 using a different trigger mechanism that is designed to be stronger and to make the break-action easier to open than that of the original T/C Contender. The Encore uses a considerably larger and stronger frame than the Contender and is available in over 80 different caliber configurations, including shotguns and #209 primer compatible muzzle loaders by simply swapping a barrel and/or stock configuration.
