We are pleased to present for you today this Jan Gwinnell Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver featuring custom grips and restoration-grade metal finishes by Turnbull Restoration.
Manufactured in 2008, the included factory letter confirms the original configuration including the class “C” expert factory engraving executed by Colt Master Engraver Jan Gwinnell, whose signature is on the right side of the front strap. Please see the white copy below for reference. Official Colt Archive letter will be included with this listing.
World-renowned for period-correct restoration of First Generation Colt SAAs, Turnbull Restoration provided its period correct finishes on this striking Third Generation example.
Also provided by Turnbull are a set of beautiful walnut grips, fitted and finished by hand.
Excellent condition, where finishes show only the slightest handling marks. The grips are excellent with no handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.
The presentation case is very good with some light handling/storage wear.
