ADDITIONAL DESC: A good (antique) condition revolver. The bore, forcing cone and muzzle crown are all in surprisingly good condition. The chambers are all re-machined from .38 S&W to .38 Special depth. The British stamped \"England\" into the side of the cylinder when they accepted the revolver into the British military. Odd that the barrel was marked \"Special\" when the revolver left the factory. Oh well, odd things happen during the wartime rush to produce firearms. There are no import markings in the revolver. Someone has \"adjusted\" both the trigger return and hammer springs, just enough to lighten the trigger pull. Someone also added some grooves to both grip panels. The only real condition issue is the missing top side plate screw. Numrich is currently out of these large head 5x44 threaded screws.
Sorry, but there is no factory box, paperwork, sling, peep sight, cleaning kit, or any other tools or accessories for the firearm. While the firearm has been cleaned, lubed and inspected by our gunsmith, it has not been test fired.
