"Serial No. 03810, circa 1940, 9mm, 4.9" round barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling visible. High gloss commercial blued slide has approximately 92% finish remaining. Expected edge wear is noted. Serial numbers are matching including the black checkered grips which are in excellent condition. Slide is marked with Walther banner –“P.38-03810". Eagle/359 waffenamts are stamped on frame and slide. Decocker does function correctly which is rare on these early guns. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Beautiful example of the first official P.38 variation issued to the German Army!
