Description:
Up for sale is a gorgeous 1950s Belgian Browning Superposed engraved by Master Engraver Felix Funken. The receiver retains its original coin finish and the engraving is quite nice. The wood is refinished but does have some excellent grain and color. Barrels measure 30 inches and are choked F/M.
The only thing I'm uncertain on about this gun is the butt plate, the LOP measures 13 7/8" which is too short but I have removed the plate and the stock is not cut or shaved down. My opinion is that originally this gun was ordered with a pad (likely replaced with the butt plate when the wood was refinished) which would have given it a standard LOP of about 14 3/8".
Nonetheless it is a very attractive and somewhat scarce shotgun!
