Description:
Very nice Jaeger rifle looks to be made in Germany or Belgium. Has super nice European walnut stock, tang sight, and 2 extra barrel sights. They look to have been changed. I will put all extra sights in sliding patch box. It also comes with a German powder horn marked with date of 1834, German coat of Arms drawn below date. I remember looking it up on line and actually found some very similar. The possibles bag is period to the rifle but has early Marine corps buttons. Barrel is Damascus steel with either owners name or manufacturer engraved on top. Really nice engraving on receiver, with a manual safety near front of hammer. Stock has a stable crack near the muzzle. Looks to have original ram rod.
