Description:
This venerable 1976 semi-auto pistol is a Colt Gold Cup National Match MK IV/70 Series chambered in .45 Auto. It has a 5" Colt blue finish accurizer barrel and bushing, a grooved frontstrap & backstrap, checkered walnut grips w/ gold Colt emblems, and a skeletonized trigger with over travel adjustment. The Gold Cup National Match MK IV/70 Series represents the ultimate in 45 caliber target pistols. Its development is the culmination of Colt's long and close association with serious target shooters who demand the satisfaction of extremely accurate range firing. The basic design is that of the Government Model 45 which has seen meritorious and superior service to our armed forces for many years. It has (1) a patented barrel and bushing to provide an extremely close fit between muzzle and slide, (2) an adjustable trigger stop to limit finger movement after sear release for an undisturbed aim, (3) a wide trigger with vertical grooves, (4) an adjustable square notch Colt Elliason rear sight with windage and elevation control, and (5) a slide with a glare-reducing flat-grooved top rib and with angled serrations. The bluing is in very good to excellent condition with only barely noticeable handling wear observable. Likewise, the grip panels are in excellent condition with no noticeable handling wear, marks, scratches or cracks. It comes with the Original Factory Colt brown box with styrofoam inserts and a single magazine. .45 Auto
