Description:
Target Percussion Rifle 68 cal rifled heavy oct barrel , Bore Exc shiny, Mech Exc with double set triggers working. Wood is excellent with no chips or cracks , has several brass inlays . Has brass buttplate and inlayed toe plate, sling swivels , triggerguard, endcap, side plate and wedge plates. The ramrod is iron and fits and looks like original. Has a wooden palm rest, checkered wrist Has an old leather sling. Has a 36 ½” oct barrel with original target sights rear sight has a leveling ball that hangs from the top. Metal overall has a blue brown patina finish with no pitting. 1 1/8” across the flats 14 Pounds. Unmarked and American made according to the previous owner.
