Description:
This may be one of the ugliest 1886 Winchester Rifles out there. Manufactured in 1898. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps. 38-56 caliber. 26" octagon barrel and full magazine tube. Surprisingly it has a good bore, I will rate it 7.5 from 1 to 10. The action internals are also in good condition, which leads me to believe that the gun was left outside or in a barn the majority of it's time. Action functions as it should. Overall metal condition is ugly: pitted, gray, and brown patina. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. Although this 1886 is ugly, it is also cheap. Please feel free to ask questions. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it.
