This gun is or is identcial to the limited run of Lew Horton guns produced by Smith in 1985/85, special order stainless 3" Factory equipped with Gon Calvo Alves Grips Grips which are stunning on this round butt model. We will confirm that this is a Lew's gun after we've reached them (ser #) It seems 5000 were produced some 1200 or so of which were sold thru Lews...but all are identical to the best of our knowledge.
Fired VERY LITTLE. Only the drag line is evidence of it having been used as condition is otherwise approx or near new.
It has been upgraded with a Wilson trigger according to friends from whom we bought it.
Not a lightweight but a terrific gun for camping for fishing in bear country.
