This is a wonderful example of an early US Army Colt 1911 pistol in .45 ACP, made in 1914. It is completely original in every respect and retains about 96-97% of its high polished blue with minimal holster wear as per pictures - a few small rub marks on the high points and a tiny bit of thinning on the front grip strap. The early charcoal blueing is deep and lustrous. The gun is all correct including an HP marked barrel. It has original grips and an original lanyard loop magazine.
A great looking collector quality early WWI Colt pistol that would be difficult to upgrade.
