Model 1871 Rolling Block Rifle U.S. Army Rifle made in partnership with Remington and Springfield. Manufactured in 1871-1872. 50 caliber Centerfire with a 36" round barrel. Very nice bore. Correct sights. Barrel retains a nice gray / brown patina. Rifle has all the correct markings and a nice cartouche on left side of wrist ( see pic). Receiver has traces of case colors with the remainder a gray / brown patina. This is a rarely seen military rifle, especially in this condition. Please feel free to ask questions.
