Description:
1880 French bayonet produced at the French state arms plant Arms De St Etienne as per engraving on the spine. On the blade next the cross piece there is a double circle with M in the center and a square with S in the center. The steel cross piece bears the numbers JG 33095 and 3 proof marks towards the Quillon. Next to the muzzle ring is a T and where the blade meets the cross piece a 1 The scabbard body shows numbers JG 33095 matching the bayonet.
