For sale is a fantastic condition Gewehr 41 rifle made by Berlin Lubecker in 1943. The rifle is the precursor to the more famous G.43 used by the German Army. This rifle utilizes a gas trap at the muzzle to cycle the action in the rifle unlike the G.43, SVT40, or M1 grand which use a gas piston system. This system was deemed too complicated and unreliable in the dirt of the Eastern Front and was replaced by the more reliable G.43.
This rifle is in an overall 99% condition with a deep bluing on all the parts with only minor handling marks. The stock is in equally good condition with no cracks or damage. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The rifle is all matching throughout.
