Beautiful Spanish M1916 chambered in 7.62 nato (308). This rifle is in excellent shape and comes with an era apropriate bayonet and scabbard. Also comes with matching sling. This rifle still has a beautiful sword and fasces crest on top of the reciever. They called this model the Guardia Civil rifles, apparently were converted to 7.62 from both 1916 and 1893 rifles in the 1960’s. It was done by the oviedo arsenal in spain. It states it will shoot regular .308 Winchester ammo but i personally would shoot a less hot round through it just to preserve it and keep the action from getting damaged by modern ammo. This rifle is in excellent shape with little wear overall. Please review the pictures attached for further details. Feel free to contact with any other question or concerns.
