A fantastic example of an original all-matching Government reworked national match 1911. This pistol started life in 1943 as a United states Property stamped US Army M1911A1. Sometime in the 60s, this pistol was reworked by the government arsenal Springfield Armory, indicated by the “SA” stamp as well as the “T” stamp indicating it passed “Targeting”, as well as the NM Stamp on the trigger guard. The slide has the last 4 of the serial number matching, as well as the NM colt barrel with matching serial number and a 7267717 part number. The barrel bushing is NM stamped as well as stamped with the part number 7267718. The mainspring housing is flat and textured, and the Sights are of the correct Eliason type. Installed is a rubber Grip with gold Colt medallions and included is the original “Coltwood” WW2 era plastic grips. This fantastic pistol comes with 3 magazines & a softcase.
