Here is a nice Mannliched Schoenauer carbine in a classic and effective caliber, 7x57. This was one of the first smokeless powder cartridges and is very effective yet today. One of the early African elephant hunters, back when elephants were viewed a a dangerous nuisance, killed over 800 elephants with this caliber.
This particular rifle has a handy 20" barrel and the traditional full length Mannlicher stock. Butterknife bolt handle. The bore is excellent and the wood is very good with the expected dings and dents of a hunting rifle's life. Some scratches on the left side of forearm shown in the last couple picture. An excellent Leopold 3x9 scope with crosshairs sits on the rifle.
