Kentucky – Original - 34cal – Percussion – Unknown – Stk# P-36-26
This original .34 caliber Kentucky rifle has a 1" x 36" browned octagon barrel is mounted with fixed sights. There is pitting around the drum on the outside of the barrel. The rifling has been re-cut by the muzzle loading gunsmith A. Osterman from Oregon. It has a .340 - .345 barrel which will take a .330 round ball. The P++ grade Maple stock has multiple repaired cracks through the wrist with a small chip of wood missing just below the lock. The stock is mounted with all brass furniture. The engraved J. Golcher is activated by double set triggers. Length of pull is 13-1/2", overall length is 52-1/4”, weight is 9.6 lbs. Very good wood to metal fit - Maker Unknown. Condition: Good.
