Marlin – 39 - 22LR - Stk# C543
This Marlin Model 39 manufactured in 1920’s with S/N S 7XXX and is chambered for .22 S, L, and L-R. The 24” tapered octagon blued barrel is in very good condition with a couple handling marks. Mounted on the barrel are replacement Lyman Globe front target sight and a two leaf foldable rear sight with a Lyman H tang sight that has both windage and elevation. The bore has clean, sharp rifling. The color case hardened receiver is in very good condition and functions as it should. The lever, trigger and hammer are blued. The Walnut hand checkered forend and wrist are in very good condition, as well as the buttstock. There are minor handling marks and a repair to the toe. The buttstock is fitted with the original checkered butt plate that has a piece broken off at the toe. Length of pull is 13-½”, overall length is 40-1/4”, and weight is 6.4 lbs.
