A U.S. Civil War Military Issued Remington New Model 1858 Percussion Army Revolver with Its Original Holster
A U.S. Civil War Military Issued Remington New Model 1858 Percussion Army Revolver With Its Original Holster In Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial #91,117, all original and complete. The U.S. Remington Army has excellent metal, markings, and edges. It is fully U.S. Sub-Inspected. It has excellent original blue on the barrel, frame, loading lever, & cylinder. There is some light fading to a plum color in small areas. The hammer still retains fading case colors. All the screws on the revolver are excellent with original blue. The brass trigger guard is excellent throughout. The original factory grips are excellent and full throughout. They fit perfectly and have a very clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouche on the left side. They are also U.S. Sub Inspected on the bottom. The revolver has an excellent and very tight action. The rifled bore is also excellent. The original holster has light but visible makers marks on the bottom of the flap. The holster is still very pliable and has its original closing tab on it. This Is An Excellent & Untouched Example Of A Civil War U.S. Military Issued Remington New Model 1858 Army Revolver With Its Original U.S. Issued Holster. This U.S. Percussion Remington Army Revolver And Holster Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Collection!
