Here is an excellent 12 gauge "London" model sidelock ejector by Renato Gamba. It appears to have been used very little. The chopper-lump barrels are 26" with a Churchill rib. The chambers are 2 3/4" and the bores are excellent, choked .004/.010 (skeet/improved cylinder). The tubes are marked: BY RENATO GAMBA. And MANNLICHER MOD. LONDON. MADE IN ITALY. The gun locks up tight as new, and the ejectors are strong and in time. The stepped action features excellent scroll engraving, and beautifully done case colors. There are side-mounted rotary cocking indicators. The firing pins are bushed and removable. There is a rolled edge trigger guard, and the front trigger is articulated. The fore-end has a push-rod release. The figured stock measures 1 1/2" (drop at comb) x 2 3/8" (drop at heel) x 14 5/8" (length of pull), including a 1" pad. (13 5/8" to the end of the wood.) The cast is neutral. The weight is 6 lbs 10 oz. A high quality Italian sidelock in very fine condition.
