Description:
This 1989 semi-automatic pistol is a Smith & Wesson 4516-1 chambered in .45 Auto. It has a fixed white round dot front sight, a Novak Lo-mount two dot square notch rear sight, a smooth curved trigger, one-piece Xenoy wrap around black hard rubber Smith & Wesson grips, and is 7" in overall length. This compact variation of the 4506 has an ambidextrous safety/decocker, a bobbed hammer, and straight backstrap. You will appreciate the craftsmanship and quality found in an all steel gun that one does not see in the newer style handguns of today. The satin stainless steel finish is in very good to excellent condition with very negligible handling wear noticeable. The Xenoy black hard rubber grips are in excellent condition with no observable handling wear. The bore is very bright and shiny with strong rifling intact. It comes with the original factory blue cardboard box, Owner's manual, warranty paperwork, oil paper, cleaning tools, and two 7-round magazines total. Compared to the 4516 original, the 4516-1 eliminated the step in the frame and beefed up the slide, produced with flashed chrome trigger and spurless hammer. The recoil spring was changed to a single unit, with an increased diameter guide rod. .45 Auto
