The sharpened, unfullered 15 5/8" shows signs of use but retains a good portion of the finish with almost no oxidation ser. #3y 48561. The guard is straight with riveted handle and unfinished square pommel, all signs of hurried work at the end of the war. This bayonet was produced by the Toyoda Jido Shokki Seisakusho (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works), under Nagoya Army Arsenal supervision. Toyoda made bayonets from 1938&1945. Very light oxidation on the pommel, guard and spine The Wood Scabbard is in excellent condition as is the bayonet, with great patina and tight winding, small separation of glue on one side. Over-all a great example of late war Japanese work. SOLD |
