Action:Semi-automatic, mechanically solid, fed by internal magazine, large ring hammer, serrated charging handle, thumb safety, lanyard ring, bottom of magazine has a slide plate, back of grip has the stock mounting groove, left side plate has ""ASTRA" AUTOMATIC PISTOL CAL 763" - "PATENTED JULY.12.1928" - "Unceta Compania GUERNICA (SPAIN)" - with three chinese characters beneath. Chinese characters translate to "Made in Spain". The serial number is stamped on the frame between the plate and the top of the serrated grip, Several proof stamps on the right side including the Eibar house proof and an "F" with star above signifying the pistol was made in 1933.
Grips:Very nice serrated wood grip plates with light handling marks
Accessories:Superb wooden stock/holster with push button latch for the lid and mounting hardware to attach the stock to the grip of the Astra 900 pistol, tight fit when mated. Pistol is held firmly in the holster when lid is closed. Overall light handling marks with a couple moderate spots.
Condition:This is a very nice example of a used/refinished Astra 900 BROOMHANDLE semi-automatic pistol with wooden stock/holster.
