Description:
This Remington U.S. Model 1903 is a right-hand bolt-action U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight and an adjustable tangent rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood with a storage compartment. The forearm is a smooth grip, two-piece hardwood. Serial Number 3027186. Barrel is arsenal stamped with an R A and dated 1-42. The M1903 was first used in combat during the Philippine–American War and served through Vietnam War where it served as a sniper rifle. It remains popular as a civilian firearm, a competitive shooting rifle, and as a military drill rifle. This rifle was manufactured in 1942. .30-06 Springfield
