Best OFFER..!...........I am the original owner of this absolute GEM of a Winchester 1873..created by he FRANKLIN MINT back 40+yrs ago. This happens to be a UBERTI mfg CLONE to the famous 1873 BUFFALO BILL CODY's rifle via the BuffaloBill CODY Western Museum in Cody,Wyoming..! I really care NOT whether it sells or doesn't... I challenge ANY interested person to 'find one of these Beauties FOR SALE...! Very few were produced having Gold plating etc. OH, kindly NOTE Trapdoor buttplate..! THIS was NEVER a FIREARM as offered by the FRANKLIN MINT to be CONSIDERED a FIREARM..! There simply is NO firing pin .And..the octagon Barrel was NEVER bored and remains so..! So, basically, this needs absolutely NO FFL paperwork to ship ..or..possess..! You see, I have purchased a UBERTI NEW barrel in 44-40...I also have a NEW 'f'pin... I can easily swap barrels out and install the F'pin to enable it to be enjoyed..and 'at will" I can return it to "its ORIGINAL " status.when mf'g'd.....It is a Gorgeous & RARE "Display" CLONE of "The Gun that WON the WEST" Extremely FEW were produced having the ENGRAVED specimen as is shown..! This originally came w/ a Fancy wooden bordered wall display & several Cody historical facts & brochures along w/ dedication plaque..for which I will NOT offer here. Every 'once in ahile one of these 'babies will come up on an ..and SELL QUICKLY before the Hammer Drops..!. .
