Here's a Stunning Example of Colt Six Shooter Engraved with Mother of Pearl Carved grips ! Serial number 15024SA . I checked with Colt Archives and this serial number comes back as a Colt SAA , Blue and in 38 Special Caliber, no mention of grips , Shipped in 1957 . As you can see this gun is high polished nickel finish . Looks to be the work of Colt Master Engraver John Pease ! The Fantastic Mother of Pearl Grips are delicately carved with a Steers Head on one side ! Screws are engraved and Fire Blued ! Gun is Imaculate ! Engraving was done by a Master Engraver with a fantastic flow ! In the Cuno Helfrect Style ! Bore and mechanics are excellent. Hammer is a bit soft but has the clicks . Timing seems fine ! Looks like gun has very little use if any . Comes with a Colt Factory box and paperwork numbered to the gun ! One of the finest looking Colt SAA's I've seen in years !
