As compared to the already durable and reliable Summit series, the Invictus provides the shooter with a heavier receiver for better handling and beefed-up locking system for approximately 50% increase in service intervals. Additionally, only the Invictus has a user-adjustable barrel tension system in the forearm. Gun opens too stiffly? You can change that in 5 seconds—without a gunsmith!
The Ascent is Guerini’s fixed mid rib, sitting 4mm above the receiver. The Ascent stock is the Monte Carlo configuration with increased strap at comb enabling the American sporting clays shooter to get his/her eye behind the beads with much more comfort than the industry-standard 1 1/2” drop at comb.
