NICE US Cavalry Colt SAA inspected by Lewis Draper in 1876.
Later engraving looks to be possibly Native American work, you be the judge. Nicely done and consistent.
Gun has been cleaned and has some later doner parts such as the ejector button etc.. Mosty the original article with correct uncut barrel and lots of matching numbers.
Tight, has all four distinct clicks, locks up and fires as it should with 0 issues.
Gorgeous old Ivory grips that were well fitted!
Just about as pretty a piece of Americana as you could hope to find anywhere and priced to sell!
