Description:
The Savage® Mark II Bolt-Action Rimfire Rifle is ideal for target shooting, as well as small game hunting, or tactical environments where loud muzzle blast is a consideration. This Mark II comes with a heavy-contour and threaded barrel. The threading utilizes 1/2"–28 TPI for compatibility with common AR-platform muzzle devices and comes with a knurled thread protector. Savage's AccuTrigger® enables shooters to obtain exceptional accuracy with the Mark II, by allowing you to adjust it to your desired weight of pull for a light, crisp release with no creep. A lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, virtually minimizing the risk of accidental discharge.
