Description:
Walther Model 2 chambered in .22 LR. This unusual Walther rifle can be operated either as a bolt action or semiautomatic rifle. The 24.25" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The front sight is a blade mounted on a ramp. The rear sight is a standard German military style tangent leaf sight. The left side of the barrel has the German proof eagle followed by the crown over N proof followed by Nitro in script. The top rear of the receiver is marked Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thur.) followed by the Walther banner logo. The serial number is marked on the trigger housing. The stock is excellent. It has checkering at the wrist, a fluted forearm, and a hard rubber Walther banner buttplate. The rifle has two sling swivels installed. The action functions correctly. No box and 1 mag. .22 Long Rifle
