"NSN. Made circa 1950's-70's on a Mauser action with a 22"" barrel chambered in 22-250 Ackley Improved. The Mauser action and the bolt were both professionally shortened to short action length due to the caliber and the bolt handle was altered to clear the scope. Custom stock made of nicely figured walnut, checkered steel butt plate with a widows peak and a blind magazine with a blued steel trigger guard and a blued steel escutcheon for the forward action screw. Bushnell Scopemaster 6x rifle scope on Buehler mounts. This rifle was made by F. William (Bill) Hause who was a student of P.O. Ackley at Trinidad College and hand picked to work for him where he did so from 1950 through 1957. It is in very good condition with some light handling marks. CONSIGNMENT
