"Serial No. 470090, made in 1889, .45-70, 32 ½" round proofed barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with a few areas of scattered surface frosting, rifling remains strong. Barrel has approximately 97% original blue with light surface scratches visible. Breech Is marked “US/MODEL/1884" with traces of case coloring noted. Lock plate is stamped with “EAGLE-U.S./SPRINGFIELD". Stock is in very good plus condition with minimal handling and storage wear noted, sharp 1889 cartouche is present. Overall very good condition.
