"Serial No. 7389D, made in 1906 by DWM, 8mm, 29 ½" round barrel. Bore has frosting and light surface oxidation visible in the grooves, rifling remains sharp and strong. Serial numbers are non-matching and rear sling swivel is missing. Metal has turned to a grey patina; stock shows minimal handling and usage wear visible. Action remains smooth and functions correctly. Great example of a pre-WW1 Gew.98!
